Drop Waist
Happy Friday Peaches!
Is it just me, or has Zara been killing it lately? For many years, I used to be huge Zara fan…like would visit the website everyday and store once a week. Unfortunately, the quality went down (so did the sizing) and prices went up. However, on occasion, I do find myself checking the website for fun shoes, accessories or co ord sets. Recently, Zara has been releasing what I deem as inexpensive dresses that look dressed up. They are combination peplum dresses that come in various colors at the bottom. Most of these dresses have a white top but different necklines for each dress. They retail for around $45. Now, will this dress last me for years to come…no. The fabric is thin and it’s not lined, but I think it’s a great piece to have in your wardrobe for spring and summer….even if it’s just for a limited time. It can be dressed up heels or tennis shoes and a denim jacket for a more casual look.

I purchased the Combination Poplin Dress in green with the boat neckline. As the website states, the dress does run large so I bought a medium. To go with my dress I also purchased the Tie Sandals in white. These shoes were worn by the model wearing the dress and I loved how they looked together. My favorite piece from this outfit has to be the giant gold earrings. Zara has always had great earrings and accessories! I love these giant gold disks and I know I will get a lot of wear out of them. My purse is vintage aka from my mother’s closet. I love the gold alligator on it, which matches my earrings and bangle. I think this outfit is great for going to brunch or shopping, or a nice dinner. Let me know your thoughts.
