Another day, another Target Collab to love!

Truthfully, I wasn’t really paying too much attention when the ads started running for the latest Target collaboration. I knew who each of the designers were; Alexis, Christopher John Rogers & Rixo, but I was too preoccupied to pay attention. In fact, I was in New Orleans when it launched and didn’t realize it until I got off the plane back in Atlanta. Luckily though, I was able to find a couple of items that I wanted, including this dress below. I live in the city and have access to five different Targets, so I scooped this one up. I also placed an order online for another dress a week after launch date. Target seems to be doing restocks online, most likely do to returns. My advice, if you missed out on anything, check target.com periodically for any restocked items.

Now on to this dress by Christopher John Rogers! I first became aware of him, like everyone else, when he dressed Vice President Kamala Harris on Inauguration Day. One thing they mentioned during that time was that he from Louisiana (like me), Baton Rouge to be specific! His designs are whimsical and full of color and pattern, which is right up my alley! I saw this color-blocked dress with the high ruffled neckline, and immediately fell in love. I love the tiers, the neckline and because it’s so unique. He did a suit in this pattern in his last runway collection. I paired this dress with some yellow tinted sunnies and these orange sandals by Open Edit. I love this look so much!
