“A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes”- Cinderella

In continuation of my week-long birthday celebration, I present my Cinderella Disneybound!

If you don’t follow me on instagram (which you should be), then you may not be aware that my birthday was Monday, the 17th. So far I posted a fun picture of my delicious Mickey Mouse themed funfetti cake! And! Since I’m doing my Disney Princess Disneybound each month, I had to do my all time favorite Princess for my birthday!

I don’t why, but I have always had an intense connection with Cinderella. She is, hands down, my absolute most favorite Princess ever. For example, my wedding was semi Cinderella themed. Before I walked down the aisle, a string quartet played “So this is Love.” On some of the tables, we had gold Cinderella carriages filled with fresh flowers. Our guestbook was even shaped like Cinderella’s Castle in which our guest dropped signed hearts into.

To me, Cinderella is a great role model because, despite her circumstances, she never gave up on her dreams and always maintained her kind spirit. And due to her kind spirit, she attracted the Prince of her dreams and ultimately became a Princess.

FASHION

For my bound, I chose this simple blue dress from Dillards…and yes, it has pockets! My shoes are actually from my wedding, which I thought would be appropriate. Since the dress was so simple, I made an elaborate choker out of ribbon and put a giant tulle bow on the back. I loved this look so much! My outfit details are below.
