It’s the Olympics Baby!!!

Well, at least that’s what it’s been all about for me recently. I have been watching the Olympics and cheering for Team USA for almost 2 weeks. It’s all I watch, all I talk about and all I think about. One could say that I am Olympics obsessed! Since I am feeling my Team USA/Americana moment, I thought this dress would be perfect for the occassion. This patchwork print is quintessentially Americana. It gives preppy vibes while enjoying the summer in Nantucket or Cape Cod. When I bought it, I envisioned myself sitting by the sea while eating a big bowl of clams or a lobster roll, sipping wine in Martha’s Vineyard. In fact, I wanted to wear this dress to Nantucket, but decided not to take the trip. Why? Saving money, paying off debt…blah blah blah boring adult stuff. I know I will get the opportunity one day. When I do, I’ll have the perfect dress for it!

I am wearing the Jacqueline Patchwork Madras Shirtdress from Kiel James Patrick. KJP is a brand that I followed for a few years, yet never purchased anything from. The company is based in Rhode Island, where they have their flagship store. It is run by Kiel James Patrick and his wife Sarah….if you don’t follow them on Instagram, you should. They are East Coast vibes! In fact, the brand gives New England coastal preppy vibes. KJP is also known for having amazing fall sweaters, which I will be adding to my closet this year. I paired my dress with some simple blue sandals, matching hangbag, and gold accessories. Below I have linked my dress and the KJP website!
