Quiet Luxury- Antonio Melani x M.G. Style
Happy Monday Peaches!
If you, like me, have been following fashion trends, then you know about the rise of “Quiet Luxury.” What is “Quiet Luxury?” According to Wikipedia,
“Quiet luxury is a lifestyle characterized by understated elegance and refined consumption, emphasizing exclusivity and discerning taste without overt displays of wealth. Other terms to describe the same concept include stealth wealth, old money aesthetic, or silent luxury.”
I am a logo girl and I don’t mind a good logo splashed on a shirt or handbag. But I can get down with the quiet luxury trend. One company that does this aesthetic well is Posse. It’s an Australian brand, favored by the likes of Sofia Richie (the current fashion It Girl). I love their clothing, especially the two piece linen vest and skirt sets, but they do not make items for women with larger bust lines.
Last week, Antonio Melani came out with their newest collaboration with blogger Styled by M.G., aka Mary Glenn McElveen. This collection was a perfect mix of beach chic and quiet luxury. She released a two piece set that was very similar to the Posse one and I immediately added it my cart. Linen sets scare me a little because they wrinkle so easily and I vowed never to add them to my wardrobe , but I couldn’t help myself. The vest has gold shell buttons down the front and an adjustable belt in the back. I paired my look with a Dior scarf in my hair, Chanel statement earrings, strappy sandals from Anthropologie and a Tory Burch clutch.
I have linked the pieces I am wearing below. I definitely be purchasing more from this collection soon, so check it out if you haven’t already!
xoxo
