Pink Galentine
Happy Valentine’s Season Peaches!
Although I have a love/hate relationship with love right now…and I actually have never really celebrated Valentine’s Day, I love a good theme. I have never really been into Valentine’s Day, although pink is my signature color. It could be because I’m not a fan of hearts. I’m not a fan of rom-coms. Heck, even love stories somewhat gross me out. But, like I said, I love a good theme and a good holiday. Just because love currently sucks, doesn’t mean I can’t dress like Cupid himself came down and shoot in my the face with his arrow. This past year has taught that my true soulmates are my girlfriends. The women who have rallied around me and protected me, prayed for me, and wrapped their arms around me. I truly believe that Galentine’s is just as important and Valentine’s, if not more. So let’s get dressed up!
When I am looking for any type of themed clothing, Unique Vintage is one of my first go to shops. I love their vintage aesthetic and how fun their pieces are. Earlier this month I found this dress and shoes on their site, and it was an immediate add to cart. I loved the hot pink and light pink stripes with the white heart buttons. The shoes match perfectly and they are so cute in person. I paired my look with a white J Crew turtleneck, a light pink beret, a Kate Spade bag, and heart earrings and glasses.
