We All Scream for Mickey Shaped Ice Cream

Goodbye Summer.…

As the weather slowly begins to cool down, and the leaves begin to change…I am doing my best to enjoy the last days of summer. Truthfully, Fall is my favorite time of year and I am so over the extreme heat here in Charleston. But, I’m never in a rush for time to go faster. So, cheers to the 90 degree heat and it still being summer.

Recently Stitch Shoppe by Loungefly came out with some new pieces and one set caught my eye! Although I like themed clothing, I don’t really buy a lot of it because it not practical for my daily life. Maybe if I lived closer to Disney World, I would have an entire closet full of these fun Stitch Shoppe dresses. But since I don’t, I am very selective on what I buy. Including the dress below, now I own three.

I saw this Disney Soft Serve Ice Cream Jan Dress and Minnie Cone Purse and I love how cute it is. The sprinkles, the bow detail at the top and the cute character themed ice cream at the bottom….I couldn’t resist. I also had to get the matching bag to complete the look. And, I knew the perfect place to wear it. On Kiawah Island, here in SC, there’s a place called Vincent’s Drug Store and Soda Fountain. The entire store is so cute, but the Soda Fountain side is amazing. The colors, the cute ice cream cones hanging from the ceiling and the full service soda shop/ice cream parlor…I felt like I was on a movie set. Unbeknown to us, the soda fountain side is closed on Saturday’s and Sunday’s, but they let us shoot there anyway and get these cute shots. The lovely girl helping us, I believe her name was Madi, even gave us a free vanilla ice cream cone with sprinkles to use/eat. My husband and I will definitely have to comeback during the weekday in order to try some food and more ice cream treats!
