Collegiate Mickey

Hi Dolls!

I don’t need school starting to be inspired to wear a collegiate look. In fact, dressing like a prep comes naturally to me. I’ve always done it. Truthfully, I can’t even count how many pairs of loafers or cardigan sets I have. My mom threw my first pleated skirt/button up sweater combo on me when I was five, and I haven’t looked back.

I’ve been spending an unusual amount of time of H&M’s website lately. It started when I was looking for lightweight summer dresses to wear….If you haven’t checked out my Summer Dress Style Haul on Instagram, click this! Anywho, I find myself on their website every few days checking to see what new items come out. Hands down, my favorite season for H&M style is Fall. I think they crush it; from their knitwear and sweaters to suits, H&M typically does it real big!

I was on the website a couple weeks back and saw some cute Mickey Mouse collegiate style clothing, so I had to place an order. H&M makes Disney clothing, but it’s either hit or miss to me. Sometimes they have adorable denim sets and sweaters, other times, it’s just pajamas or t-shirts. I purchased the Mickey Oversized Printed Sweatshirt. I paired the Mickey sweatshirt with a pleated skirt (also from H&M), cute frilling socks and my favorite Cole Haan loafers, to create Disney Prep look. I love how it came out and will definitely be on repeat for the Fall. SN: The pleated skirt comes in a few prints, and I’ll definitely be picking up more for the season.
