Nightmare Before Halloween

We are officially ten days away from Halloween….which means it’s time for my 2022 Halloween costume reveal!

It’s Jack Skellington & Zero!

Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite Disney film of all time. However, I’ve never dressed up as a character for Halloween before. Truthfully, I wasn’t planning on dressing up at all. Last year around this time my husband and I were in Aspen, CO. Halloween was the furthest thing from my mind. However, over the summer I purchased a few vintage Mickey lunchboxes with the intent of turning into purses. The first purse I wanted to make was a Mickey Jack Skellington. I began working on the purse in July, and by mid-August, I decided to make it apart of my Halloween costume. I absolutely love how this purse came out, which made me so excited to dress like Jack. And, of course, I had to turn Fiona into Zero the Ghost Dog. She was a very good girl during the photoshoot, even though she probably felt ridiculous.

I hope you guys have a wonderful Halloween and don’t go eating too much candy! I will either be handing out candy OR watching The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown from my couch.
