Vail, CO

Hi Dolls!

Welcome back to my 4th post from my Colorado vacation with my husband. I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since we were there. Going to Colorado for the first time was so exciting and we definitely wanted to see as much as we could. We flew into Denver and made the 3 hour drive to Aspen. Along the route, we were able to see so many mountain towns. One being, Vail. We decided to stop in Vail on the way home, just to see it. The city of Vail is fairly large, especially compared to Aspen. I think it’s also more family oriented and touristy compared the Aspen, which is way quieter…and more expensive.

Downtown Vail is modeled after a German village, which makes it so adorable. I could have stayed so much longer just looking at all the buildings and exploring. But, alas, we had to get to the airport. So, a quick walk around and a photoshoot was all we could do, but it was still fun.

FASHION

I think having good pair of overalls in the in my wardrobe is crucial for me. When I saw these corduroy pair for Aerie, I wanted them for Colorado and forever. How perfect are these for Fall/Winter? And the strap detail? It’s a vibe. Plus they are super comfortable AND they are currently on sale and come in three or four colors. I paired mine with a turtleneck and scarf from J Crew Factory and my favorite platform Oxfords by Blair Eadie. Oh, and I had to throw in my vintage Gucci bag. I have linked everything I could below.
