Hi Dolls!
I’m been doing my blog for a couple of years now. I will say, I enjoy being able to look back and see how I progressed. At the beginning I had no idea what I was doing…and am still flying by the sit of my pants (or now tulle skirt). I thought it would be fun to redo some of my looks to see how my style has evolved. I wore this skirt two years ago during the holidays and paired it with a velvet J Crew tank top, denim jacket and Chuck Taylors. I literally think I threw on a denim jacket all the time; my husband even noticed. I’ve linked the first photoshoot below. One thing that definitely stood out last time was how hungover I was lol. My office holiday party was the night before and I literally threw up all night, but was able to gather myself and do a shoot in the freezing cold. Don’t judge me bro….
For this years look, I went full Ms. Blair Eadie. I paired The Atlantic-Pacific x Halogen skirt with a jacket for her 2020 summer collection. I also paired these pieces with an Amazon turtleneck and some old Zara platform oxfords. I ended up wearing this whole outfit to my fancy anniversary dinner with the Hubs. I definitely think this is styled better than the first time I wore this skirt. This is probably one of my favorite looks I’ve styled this year. Unfortunately, you can’t get any of these pieces unless you go on eBay or something. But! I’ll try to link similar options below.
