The Gwen Set

Hi Peaches!

Whoa….first post of the new year and it’s already March. I can’t believe it. During the month of January, I rest from content creation. This year, however, my entire family caught flu 1 in January. It was absolutely miserable and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. The rest ended up being much needed. Luckily, February was better. I just came back from Walt Disney World and ran the RunDisney Princess 5K and 10K. It was so much fun. I did share a lot of content on my Instagram. FASHION:

During the holidays, I did a tiny bit of shopping. I came across this adorable plaid set by Melody Ehsani. Melody Ehsani is a designer from Los Angeles. She is the women’s creative director of Foot Locker, and has collaborated with brands like Nike and Reebok. She’s also married to Flea, the bassist from the band the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I first came across this brand when she collaborated with Disney. I bought an outfit last year that I haven’t shared it yet. The general feel of the brand is similar to street style apparel. There’s lots of hoodies and sweats, but also items like the Gwen set which I am wearing today.

This was such a fun outfit to shoot. We channeled the Steve Madden ads from the 90’s. I don’t know if anyone remembers those ads? They were a staple of my childhood and I remember seeing them everywhere. The models looked like human Bratz dolls. I paired the Gwen set with my favorite Jeffrey Campbell platform Mary-janes, Louis Vuitton earrings and Stoney Clover Lane pouchette in noir.
